Kitchen time

Say : Now it’s kitchen time! Let’s go to the kitchen and look for some smelly-tasty petals ! Let’s walk to the kitchen! Hold the baby gently under his arms and tenderly swing/walk/carry him to the kitchen. Make the walk fun . sing ( If you’re happy and you know it ) while walking with him….say : here we are. This is our kitchen where we can see food and drinks, learn to cook , and eat Yummy food! We can learn nutrition too! Now we are going to open the fridge to find something special today ! Reach out and bring some rose petals . Hold up the petals and say : rose petals! Show them to the baby and say “ rose petals , rose petals ”, they are rose petals ! Rose petals come in a variety of different shades of orange ,red ,pink ,white and yellow . Rose petals are used to garnish on cake and desserts . Rose water made with rose petals is a favorite flavoring in our cuisine .The delicate petals are highly aromatic and have a flavor that can be sweet and spicy ! These petals are red . Look at the color, red , red ! rose petals are red ! Since rose petals contain about 95 per cent water . Their nutritional value is limited .The most widely known for their “aesthetic benefits” and the fragrance of the flower that is sweet and soothing to the senses , but keep in mind that they provide certain health benefits . The high content of Vitamin “C” , citric and malic acids combine very well to provide an assistance in a number of internal process of the body . The few benefits that roses provide are : clearing the toxins and heat from the body . Providing your body a certain cooling effect . Its characteristics as a laxative also make it very beneficial in treating liver conditions that include constipation. Moreover , these petals also help relive a sore throat as well as a running nose or even blocked bronchial tubes. Take some petals in your hand and touch the baby’s nose and say: nose .Touch the other parts of the face commenting on them: head, forehead, brows, eyes, hands, fingers, chest, tummy, waist, legs, feet . Put the baby in the seat . Approach the stems next to his nose and say , smell it now ,Mmm! Rose petals sweet and soothing ! Touch the baby’s face . Say : It’s satin.! Put the baby in the seat . Put some rose petals in a bowl . Take the baby’s hand in your hand and help him touch and mix them say : silky .. satin ! satin ! Guide him by playing and mixing these leaves together.( NB. since the petals are light He may try to put some petals in his mouth!! ) Let him do it by himself until he gets tired or not interested . Provide the rest time.
