Kitchen time

Say: Now it’s kitchen time! Let’s go to the kitchen and look for some smelly-tasty fruits! Let’s walk to the kitchen! Make the walk fun. Say: “Let’s sit at the table and discover their secrets!” Put the baby in the seat and approach the seat next to the kitchen table. Put the fruits in front of him to have a closer look at them, also to feel their textures between his hands! Sit next to the baby; Hold up the orange, show it to the baby and say: “orange!” The orange fruit is a member of the citrus family. Orange is round with a pebbly texture. It is covered in a thick, orangey-yellow skin, and the inside is divided into segments of juicy pulp. Orange can be eaten fresh, or processed for its juice or fragrant peel. This delicious fruit contains an impressive list of essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals for normal growth and development and overall well being. Most citrus fruits have a good deal with “Vitamin C” that protects your body from heart disease and cancer. It boosts your immunity and helps keep skin looking beautiful! Orange is orange in color! Do you know that with orange as your favorite color, you are warm, optimistic, extroverted, good-natured and a generally agreeable person! Having a personality color orange means you are more light-hearted and less intense. Now, hold up the apple; show it to the baby and say: “red apple! Apples are one of the healthiest food a person can eat .This fruit has so many virtues. An apple is beautiful, tasty and has a fine fragrance. Apple fruit is oval; its outer peel is red. (While talking to the baby, keep passing his hands on the fruit!) Apple is a good source of soluble fiber that helps prevent heart disease. It contains heart-healthy potassium, and B-complex vitamins. Apple is also loaded with “Vitamin C”. This delicious fruit is packed with rich “phyto-nutrients “that is dispensable for optimal health. Certain antioxidants in apple have several health promoting and disease prevention properties! This apple is red. Look at the color, red! Red is a warm and positive color associated with our will to survive! Red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action! It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination! If you favor the personality color red you have a passion and enthusiasm for life and are not afraid to pursue your dreams. Peel the orange, remove the skin and cut it in slices (don’t forget to remove the seeds found in the orange) and put them in a bowl. Then, cut the apples into small cubes and put them in another bowl. He will surely enjoy discovering the texture of each fruit when you put each bowl alone in front of him, especially when he feels the texture of the orange. He will try to put a small piece of each fruit in his mouth in order to taste it. (Always supervise the baby while eating to make sure that he is safe!) Let him do it by himself until he gets tired or not interested. Provide the rest time.
