Say : Now it’s kitchen time! Let’s go to the kitchen and look for some smelly- tasty fruits and vegetables ! Let’s walk to the kitchen! Hold the baby gently under his arms and tenderly swing/walk/carry him to the kitchen. Make the walk fun .Sing (There are many colored fruits-They are good for you. grapes are purple, I'll eat a few, cherries and eggplants are purple, I'll eat them too)) while walking with him….say: here we are. This is our kitchen where we will try to find some purple fruits and vegetables to talk about them. Take a cluster of grapes and some cherries from the fruit bowl on the counter top. Open the fridge and get an eggplant ! Hold up the fruit and say:” purple”! Show it to the baby and say: “ purple, grapes are purple. Eggplant contains other compounds that promote good health, fight infections and help in weight loss. Now, Hold up the cherries and say:”purple!” show it to the baby and say:”purple! Cherries purple! They are purple cherries! Cherries are drupe fruits with a central “stony-hard” seed surrounded by edible fleshy fruit. Externally the fruits have bright "shiny" purple color with very thin peel. Wonderfully delicious, Cherries offer therapeutic benefits to your health, as cherries are rich in antioxidants and many other health-promoting compounds. Pour purple food coloring into five small shallow bowls.( By adding some milk drops we obtain light purple color. For lighter purple use more drops of milk. Now, to obtain dark purple color, add two black drops, Finally for a darker color use more black drops). Hold the first bowl. Show it to the baby. Say:” light purple” Hold the second bowl ,approach it to the baby .Say ”lighter purple” Use purple without any addition to introduce “purple”. Take the third bowl. Show the color to the baby. Say:”purple”. Take the forth bowl. Show it to the baby. Say” dark purple”. Now, take the fifth bowl. Show it to the baby. Say: ”darker purple”. Say:” Now we will make an amazing design with these colors.”Put a white paper in front of the baby, give the baby a cotton ball and in the other hand hold the light purple bowl take your baby’s hand in your hand and put it in the bowl then put the bowl aside and help the baby print on the paper by pressing gently on his hand. (Repeat the same procedures to apply the rest)
