Kitchen time

Say : Now it’s kitchen time! Let’s go to the kitchen to make a funny activity! Let’s walk to the kitchen! Make the walk fun. Sing (There are many colored fruits-They are good for you. Plums are blue, I'll eat a few, blueberries and figs are blue, I'll eat them too) While walking with him. Say: here we are. This is our kitchen where we will try to sit at the table and make an attractive activity! Open the kitchen cabinet and bring three food coloring bottles (pink, white/or milk, black)! Hold up the pink bottle and say:” pink”! Show it to the baby and say:”’s pink. This color is pink”. Today we will talk about this color ”pink”, then we will use it for prints . Pink isn’t a primary, or secondary color, it’s a tint of red; Pink is definitely considered a feminine color. Baby girls are often dressed in pink, and pre-teen and teen girls often choose pink as one of their favorite colors. Pink, a delicate color that means sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming, feminine, and tenderness, is associated with bubble gum, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy, and sweetness. The color pink is the color of universal love of oneself and of others. Pink represents friendship, affection, harmony and inner peace. Now we will listen to the difference between shades and tints. Tints are created by mixing white to a hue. Shades are created by adding black to a hue. Now, we are going to use “pink” and its tints and shades to print on a white plain paper. Pour pink food coloring into five small shallow bowls.( By adding some milk drops we obtain light pink color. For lighter pink use more drops of milk. Now, to obtain dark pink color, add two black drops. Finally, for a darker color use more black drops). Hold the first bowl. Show it to the baby. Say:” light pink” Hold the second bowl ,approach it to the baby .Say ”lighter” (Look this pink is lighter than the previous both bowls to the baby ) Use pink without any addition to introduce “pink”. Take the third bowl. Show the color to the baby. Say:” pink”. Take the forth bowl. Show it to the baby. Say” dark pink”. Now, take the fifth bowl. Show it to the baby. Say: ”darker pink”. Say:” Now we will make an amazing design with these colors.”Put a white paper in front of the baby. Give him a cotton ball and help your little one put print on the paper by pressing gently on his hand. (Repeat the same procedures to apply the rest.
